SQUEE! <(^____________^)>
This is Nevermore Designs's first layout, and I absolutely love it! ^-^! It took me a total of about three hours (which means that I'm not including the time it took me to eat dinner at 11:00 P.M. XD), and it was done just after scrapping an unfinished, shitty one that wasted two hours of my life.
This design is, well, random, I confess. It wasn't till I was a good bit into it, playing around with different brushes and all, that I fully realized the looks on our favorite wind deities' faces: They were playing paintball, of course! (Riiight, Akira...)
I've often heard people sneer, "Design layouts as if you were to use them on your own site, punks!" Truth be told, I'm having difficulty in telling myself that this is for other people to use, not me. (I've enough sites as it is!)
Well, down to buisness. If you want to use this layout, don't remove the credits, because one of them isn't even for Nevermore. There are two banner images included, the one you see here and one that has a bunch of nice, (somewhat) blank space for you to inscribe your site title. Am I not nice, or what? (That was rhetorical! >.<!) For full info on the can's and cannot's of this layout, be sure to see ND's Terms of Use. Kapeesh?
This layout allows unlimited links, of course. The columns are non-resizable. To get the cool background image on the header in the content (which, in every browser but IE, changes color on hover), simply use <h1></h1>. That's all you have to do, thanks to the magic of CSS. Same goes with the header in the menu (which inverses colors on hover, except in IE). No strings attached!
On a final note, this layout has been tested in Mozilla Firefox (1.5 rc3), Internet Explorer (6.0), and Opera (8.5) on a Windows XP system at the screen resolutions of 1024x768, 800x600, and, just for the heck of it, 1280x1024.

Extras
Yes, there are some extras. Nothing too extravagant, to be sure, but they've been left quite plain for a reason: You are to adorn them as you wish! Or, if you think you can create some better extras altogether, do so! Just follow the "edit sensibly" rule and all will be well! x__x Also, don't take the extras without the layout! Truthfully, they look pretty screwed without the accompanying design.
